After an April so warm it broke century-old records it’s looking as if it’s going to be a scorcher this summer.
So with the possibility for the mercury to rise well above the average in the coming months, it’s important to stay cool, but still look stylish and professional in your serviced office.
Fashion guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones has suggested that fashion-conscious workers opt for key pieces such as a chiffon blouse or a short-sleeved jacket to see them through the spring and summer months.
She also pointed out that seventies fashion was very ‘in’ this season and could easily be adapted for the workplace.
She added: “Embrace the rainbow of colours available this season and team your black pencil skirt with a sheer, cobalt-blue blouse and colourful, chunky bangles for an injection of summery brights.”
Meanwhile, the website RollonFriday reported a leaked email from a law firm which asked employees to desist from arriving at work wearing very high heels and short skirts, as it was deemed to be inappropriate in the workplace.
